The Duathlon Bike Route
Leaving the Transition area on the Bike make a RIGHT turn on San Pablo Dam Road... Smooth, flat, downhill to the signal lights.
The Dam Road
Don't get confused when you make the right hand turn on San Pablo Dam Road. You will go 1/2 mile and you will see another entrance to the Reservoir for the boat launching area. Don't take it !!
Down the hill you go !
Right on Castro Ranch Rd
One of two lights. Make a right onto Castro Ranch Road.
Castro Ranch Road Cont.
On Castro Ranch Road. Homes till you get to the top and then you will go down... see next picture.
To the Y - Go Right
Downhill to a Y in the Road. You go right.
Alhambra Valley Road
Keep following the road. Arrows and signs will be there for you to see.

Keep going. It's about 2.5 miles.
Bear Creek to the Right
Bear Creek Road goes to the right. This is where the work begins, Over the Bears.
The sign to the other entrance looks the same. Keep going 4 miles.. you can't finish the race in a BOAT !
Up Mama Bear
Enjoy the view, once on top of Mama.

Ups and Downs
Beginning of Papa Bear.

Almost up Papa Bear.
Back side of Papa, 1.7 miles of long FAST downhill.

Done With The Bears
You have just come up a tough little last climb and you will come to the last intersection, San Pablo Dam Road. You must turn RIGHT TO GO HOME, approximately 4.5 Miles.
Going home, tiny rollers until you come back to the entrance of the Park... where you left.
Re-Enter the Reservoir
Just ahead to your entrance on the right. You still have to get off your bike and run 2 or 3 for the Golden Bears, more miles... same run as the first one. To your left to the Transition Area.
